This is my 2D platformer tutorial.

For my proposed modifications, I'd like to focus largely on aesthetics to create the world of the story I had in mind. Sticking with the cat theme of my previous 2D shooter, I'd like to have the player as a little cat. The story is that this cat loves the vegetable garden at its house, but his beloved garden is attacked by weeds!  The goal of the game will be to defeat the weeds and grab the garden gate key to protect all of the yummy fruits and vegetables. 

Modifications: 

1. Alter color scheme - I'm going to do a pastel theme to make a friendly and cute environment, creating my own tile patterns and such to create a pretty garden theme.

2. Modify player and enemies - I will be creating animations for the player, including animation for the jump, walk, etc. I also plan to redraw the enemies and various plants(weeds) to create the garden theme

3. Alter pick ups- I'm going to change the pick ups so that they fit with my garden vibe, like drawing a key instead of a key card.

4. Making cover art for the front page

5. If I have time, I wanna construct(lofi) on garage band to complete the lovely pastel atmosphere.
