This is my 2D platformer, Stompy-Cat Adventures!! In this game  you play as a little cat named Toji, who defends his garden from the filthy weeds! The goal is to collect the keys for their respective gates(colors) and get the rainbow fruit!

Modifications:

1. Created a Main Menu cover with elements of the game

2. Modified all the pages of Main Menu UI canvas and pause screens(each screen with own design) to match the colorful element!

3. I redrew everything in pastel colors on PS- sky, fruits, plants, trees, water, clouds etc.

4. Made tiles, rule tiles etc.

5. Cat character sprite, idle, walk, fall, and death animations

6. Made plant enemies- idle and death animation(the death animation was working, and then broke)

7. Created unique level layouts, with moving platforms, and multiple step challenges for increased difficulty.

Overall I focused on level layout and creating a cute aesthetic with bright pretty pinks, purples, greens and blues!

Notes: There are a couple bugs that showed up in the process, and since this is so late I struggled to reach out, others I was able to solve. The return to main button on the instructions screen does NOT work for whatever reason(it s tarts as clicked and isn't interactive) all other pages work.  As mentioned earlier, the death animation for my enemies got skewed, it shows a image of the previous enemy when it dies.  It used to work, and as I was testing my game it just stopped. The last thing is that for whatever reason, level 2 and 3 run a Null Reference Exception:  Object reference no set to an instance of object, and when the player jumps on the enemies, the player doesn't get the rebound bounce. Also, the health numbers don't show up, even though the script it attached and never touched. Level 1 is unaffected by this and I never touched the script so I'm not sure how the error developed, but figured I'd inform you!

I ended up spending over 50 hours on this because it was already late and I wanted to give my best work forward, but in the future I will certainly have to make sure I maintain schedule, besides that this project was super fun!

Hope you enjoy :)
